Most people carry several cards but rarely know which one gives the best perk at the merchant in front of them. StatusMaxx closes that gap: it matches live card promotions to the cards a user actually holds, with proximity-based discovery so the right offer surfaces at the right place.
Problem
Card perks are scattered across issuer pages and change constantly — value is left on the table because nobody tracks them per-merchant.
Approach
A daily Python pipeline extracts and structures promotions, which are matched against each user's wallet and surfaced by proximity to nearby merchants.
Recognition
Winner of the Kyushu University QREC entrepreneurship fund grant; currently applying for Y Combinator Fall 2026.
